Advocates are all suitably qualified and have a number of years experience working within the disability sector and we align our skills and work capabilities with our organisational values. Advocates are required to provide Individual Advocacy and undertake Systemic Advocacy Projects.
All employees and volunteers are required to hold or apply for The Working with Children Check (“Blue Card”) and relevant Criminal History Screening prior to commencing employment. Once in receipt of the Blue Card, you are required to obtain an Exemption to the Disability Services’ Positive Notice (“Yellow Card”).
